Italian artist Guido Daniele has found a unique way to display his painting talent: by using other people's hands as living canvases. He transforms hands into an entire zoo of animals and objects, from flamingos to trees and corals. His attention to detail is incredible; particularly his treatment of texture. From feathers to scales to fur, his animal hands border on the photorealistic.
His website is www.guidodaniele.com, where you can the hand art and his other work, including a 1986 exhibition of airbrushed texture paintings. These show he's been developing and refining his treatment of texture for many years.
