playground apartments: Tokyo

I found this link in Brooke's link to the toothpick art gallery:

They are apartments in Tokyo designed to look like the inside of a fast food Play area. The designer says that the apartments are designed this way - with limited space inside that requires bending and cramming - to heighten instinct and enrich the quality of life.

Seems like a nice way to say there's no room in Tokyo...everyone lives in tiny apartments. Fun!
