I really enjoyed all that Kansas City had to offer. I had never been to the Kemper Museum before, I had previously heard really great things about it and after seeing it in person and viewing the different galleries I was very impressed with such a wide range of differing styles of 2D and 3D art. My favorite part of the trip was probably traveling downtown to the individual galleries, where I stopped at Monika's Gallery, in which her layering of color and movement was very beautiful. Then we moved down a few blocks to the Blue Gallery, where it featured several female artists all of which promoting their femininity. We ended the trip with a great dinner at Olive Garden, talking about what all we saw! All in all it was a great experience and I plan to go up again soon.
